RG Simulator Qualifier — Path to the 2026 AJGA Open Series RG Golf Junior Championship

1. Host

RG Golf Inc.

2. Qualifying Sites and Venues

All locations in North America equipped with an RG Golf Simulator. Private simulator owners may participate directly on their own simulators; the public venues are listed above.

3. Competition Window

August 1, 2026, 9:00 a.m. EST – August 14, 2026, 5:00 p.m. EST.

4. Format

Individual stroke play.

5. Course Setup

• Course: GreenTee Country Club, Langley, BC — the championship host course, played virtually on the RG Golf Simulator
• Boys: 6,887 yards, par 72 (Rating 72.8 / Slope 131)
• Girls: 5,877 yards, par 72 (Rating 73.3 / Slope 127)

6. Prizes

One exemption spot each in the boys’ and girls’ divisions into the AJGA – 2026 RG Golf Junior Championship (GreenTee Country Club, Langley, BC, September 4–7, 2026).

• If a winner declines the spot or has already qualified through another channel, the exemption will be reassigned at the discretion of the Tournament Committee.
• Players who earn an exemption must complete registration and payment for the championship in accordance with the championship’s own tournament regulations.
• All participants must enable the video-upload function in the RG Golf client, and the video must clearly identify the participant, so that winning scores can be verified. Scores with no video, obstructed video, or an unverifiable player identity are invalid and ineligible for prizes, and the spot passes to the next eligible finisher.
• To enable video upload: log in at m.rggolf.com/user → “User Info” (tap the “>” icon after logging in) → “Player Settings” → turn on “Video Upload.”

7. Eligibility

• Amateur status: participants must comply with the latest Rules of Amateur Status as published by the USGA and adopted by the AJGA.
• Boys and girls ages 12–19, in accordance with AJGA eligibility: juniors who have not reached their 19th birthday and have not graduated high school as of January 1 of the event year. Players must be at least 12 years old to compete.
• Preferably residing primarily in North America.
• Preferably a registered AJGA member. Players who are not yet members must register with the AJGA before August 14, 2026, 5:00 p.m. EST in order to receive the exemption spot.

8. Competition Rules

Rules of play. Play is governed by the latest Rules of Golf as published by the USGA and adopted by the AJGA, together with the supplementary provisions of this RG Qualifier Tournament Regulation established by the Tournament Committee.

Format. 18-hole individual stroke play, ranked by division. Players must complete at least one full 18-hole round before the qualifier closes; repeat entries are encouraged. Final ranking is based on each player’s best 18-hole gross score.

Ties. If total scores are tied, the tie is broken in the following order:

1. The player who has completed more rounds ranks higher.
2. Better total score on the back nine (holes 10–18).
3. Hole-by-hole countback starting from hole 18.
4. Random draw.

9. Entry and Fees

• Entry fee: none.
• Venue and simulator fees: payable at each venue’s standard rates.

10. Player Notices

• Warm-up and practice rounds are strongly recommended for first-time users of the RG Golf Simulator.
• Rulings: penalty situations such as water hazards and out of bounds are resolved automatically by the system in accordance with the Rules of Golf. Situations not handled by the system are governed by this Regulation.
• Disputes: pause play immediately and submit evidence (video or photos) through venue staff to the online referee, with a clear description of the situation. If no appeal is made at the time, the situation and its result are deemed accepted; post-round appeals will not be considered.
• Outages: if a power or network outage causes simulator data loss, scores for holes already completed remain valid, and play resumes under the referee’s guidance.
• Assumption of risk: by entering, players confirm that they fully understand and agree to comply with all rules and requirements of this event; that they enter voluntarily; that they understand and accept the risks involved in participating in golf events and related travel; and that they are fit to compete. Personal injury or property loss arising from participation is the player’s own responsibility.
• Media release: players voluntarily provide personal information for event registration and authorize the host and the Tournament Committee to use photos, videos, and likenesses from their participation in event-related publicity, including but not limited to news coverage, post-event highlight videos, posters, and brochures.
• Venue conduct: publicly accessible venues are generally equipped with CCTV for safety and security. Any violation of this Regulation or the Rules of Golf will be documented. Please be mindful of your conduct while at these venues.

11. Interpretation

Final interpretation of this Regulation rests with the Organizing Committee of the 2026 AJGA – RG Golf Junior Championship RG Qualifier.
