For Venue Operators

7 reasons venue operators are putting RG bays on their floor

What operators actually ask us before they buy — answered in the order the questions come up.

01

Your bays only earn when they're booked — and midweek is the problem

Most indoor golf floors are sold out Thursday through Sunday and quiet on a Tuesday afternoon. You carry rent, power and staff on hours that generate nothing, and those soft hours are what turn a strong weekend business into a thin annual P&L — they compound every month of the lease. RG bays run tournaments, leagues and game modes natively in the software rather than as a separate product you have to source and operate; more than 2,000 tournaments have been hosted online on RG simulators. The reason to come in on a Tuesday stops being "practice" and becomes "my league round is due Thursday."

You can run the payback math yourself before you ever talk to us

Every simulator vendor will tell you the bays pay for themselves; far fewer will show you the arithmetic. That leaves you rebuilding the model in a spreadsheet from numbers a salesperson gave you — and a deal you cannot pressure-test is a deal that stalls for months. RG publishes a venue ROI calculator that takes your bay count, your rates and your utilization and returns a year-one steady state with every assumption shown. You can disagree with our inputs and change them, which is the point.

Three cameras track the ball and the club in every bay

Your best golfers decide within one session whether they trust the numbers, and if they don't, they don't rebook — and they tell the rest of your membership. Eagleye III uses a three-camera system tracking both ball and club, rendered in Unreal Engine 5. It is the same system running in every RG experience center, so you can stand in one and judge it for yourself rather than take our word for it.

200+ real courses ship with the system, not as a paid add-on

Course content is where simulator quotes quietly inflate — the hardware price gets you in the door, then the library is licensed separately and annually. Operators tend to find that out after the capital is approved, which makes for a bad month. RG's packages include 200+ real courses, so your bays open with a full library on day one.

The Americas team installs it and supports it

The reasonable worry about an overseas manufacturer is that you are buying a shipping container and a PDF — and that a dead bay in February becomes a two-week email thread across twelve time zones. A dead bay is not a support ticket; it is lost revenue every hour it stays down. RG operates experience centers in New York, Los Angeles, Jacksonville, Toronto and Vancouver, and the Premium package includes installation service. There are working RG floors in five cities you can walk into.

Both package prices are published on this page

"Contact us for pricing" costs you two weeks and three calls before you learn whether the project is even in budget. RG Golf Professional is $18,999 — sensor, software and RG pad. RG Golf Premium is $35,999 — the complete turnkey package: the core plus host, projector, auto-tee, touchscreen and installation service. 2K and 4K are component options on either package, not separate tiers. You can size the project before you book a call.

Go hit balls in a live RG bay before you buy one

No demo reel, no trade-show booth and no spec sheet tells you how a system feels to a golfer over a full round. Otherwise you are committing five figures a bay to equipment you have swung at for ninety seconds on a show floor. Every RG experience center is a working venue — book a bay, play a round, and watch how a paying customer actually uses it. Buy it after that.
